In order to claim a policy, whether it is for a funeral policy or a grocery plan, you must submit the following documents to us: 

1. Claim document - Please contact our office via telephone, email, or WhatsApp to obtain a claim document. Complete the claim document and do not leave out any unnecessary information. 

2. Death certificate - You must obtain the death certificate from the funeral parlour or from Home Affairs and submit a certified copy to us.

3. DHA1663 - This document is also called a Notice of death, or BI1663... This document can be obtained from the funeral parlour. (NB. You must submit a certified copy of this document). 

4. Burial Order - This document is also called a DHA14 or BI14. This document can be obtained from the funeral parlour. (NB. You must submit a certified copy of this document)

5. Deceased ID - Please submit a certified copy of the deceased's ID

6. Claimant's ID - Please submit a cetrtified copy of the claimant's ID

7. Account confirmation - Please submit an account confirmation letter or bank statement of the claimant's account, in case of a cash claim. 


Once we have received all your claim documents, your claim will be assessed, and then it will either be approved or denied. If approved, we will honour the claim immediately. If denied, we will explain to you why it was denied.
